MCR Participation: Preservation, Financing, and Enhanced Voucher Consultant to Owner

This Section 236 project enjoyed only partial project-based Section 8 assistance when it applied to the State of Maryland Housing Finance Agency for new tax-exempt financing and 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits to fund a substantial rehabilitation plan.  MCR assisted the buyer by offering a full scope of Preservation consulting services including the compilation of a full Tenant Income Profile, Section 8 Enhanced Voucher, and budget-based Section 236 IRP format rent increase requests for submission to HUD.  In addition, MCR coordinated full Wellstone Amendment prepayment notifications with all levels of government on behalf of the buyer.
