The project turned to a refinancing with the New Jersey Housing Finance Agency who also awarded an allocation of 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits to fund the buyer's substantial rehabilitation plan. MCR coordinated full Wellstone Amendment prepayment notifications with all levels of government on behalf of the buyer, processed the owner's Budget-to-Market Section 236 IRP form of HUD rent increase request, and sponsored two on-site tenant information meetings during the development process.
